a.k.a. BROTHER E-SUMI-YAN IS THE BEST AND I WILL FIGHT ANYONE WHO SAYS OTHERWISE
a.k.a. GODSDAMNIT SYLPHIE, LISTEN TO BROTHER E-SUMI
-Sizhu feels a special attachment to Stillglade Fane, as the Conjurer's Guild was the first she joined on arriving in Eorzea. She has a deep respect for Brother E-Sumi-Yan, admiring his poise, his stately bearing, and his strong but gentle nature.If it wasn't for Alphinaud, she'd have a huge crush on him.
...Okay, maybe she has a tiny one anyway.
-Regarding Sylphie: Sizhu can understand someone wanting to be like--or at least "live up to"--his or her mother; however, the girl's inclination towards not listening and running off rather than hearing hard truths is something she cannot accept. Unlike her own mother, though, Sizhu agrees with Brother E-Sumi's more gentle methods of teaching, and is glad to demonstrate her abilities and help the girl change gradually, rather than physically forcing her to accept reality all at once. In the end, she is proud of the future-Hearer, and flattered that Sylphie thinks so highly of her.

a.k.a. GTFO YOU STUPID SHITLORD BROTHERS
a.k.a. BAD DECISIONS, THE QUEST LINE
-While she makes use of what they taught her, Sizhu bears little respect for any of the brothers. The fact that none of them think that their youngest brother should make any sort of reparations for the deaths of the other mages or the adventurers he'd killed while under Mormo's control--indeed, the fact that they seemed to pay those deaths no mind at all--struck a sour chord with her, and she swore off ever willingly setting foot in the Ossuary again.
-Regarding Cocobusi: Sizhu doesn't blame him for wanting to be seen as an equal to his brothers, or for wanting power; however, the ends don't justify the means, and we are ultimately responsible for our choices. To harm others for our own selfish gain is not acceptable, which is what Cocobusi ends up doing, and he never seems bothered by the lives he took, which in Sizhu's mind is unforgivable. Ultimately, she considers him and all his brothers to be sad, irresponsible individuals.

a.k.a. WHERE THE FLIP IS OUR REAL GUILDMASTER ANYWAY (EDIT: OH, OKAY, HE'S OFF BEING AN ASSHOLE, WAY COOL, DUDE)
-Though talking with K'lyhia tends to leave Sizhu feeling a bit bemused, Acting Guildmaster Thubyrgeim has her trust. Arcanima is more to the liking of her brother Mikh'a, but Sizhu isn't unskilled herself--their mother pushed them hard and made sure they were well-rounded, able to do whatever the situation called for.
-...Then K'lyhia went into BSOD mode because IT WAS DEFINITELY PIRATES who ruined a certain mission, and it happened to be one sleazebag pirate in particular. Acting Guildmaster Thubyrgeim suggested hunting down the real Guildmaster, and Sizhu agreed for K'lyhia's sake.
-...Then the SCAVENGER HUNT O' DEATH happened, and Sizhu decided that actually, she preferred it when the "real" Guildmaster wasn't around. Because K'rhid Tia is easily #3 on her list of "PEOPLE I WOULD LIKE TO PUNCH IN THE FACE, AND IF I START THEN I'M NOT SURE WHEN I'LL STOP." (Only maybe he's #2 now, since Livia sas Junius has been punched in the face a satisfactory number of times, which in this case means SHE'S DEAD).
And K'rhid is juuuust pretty enough that hitting him in the face would be intensely satisfying.
-In the end, though, Sizhu doesn't regret hunting him down, because it helped K'lyhia. And even if she's not super close, or really even 'friends' with the other miqo'te, Sizhu is always one for defending her guildmembers.

a.k.a. BASICALLY A SHOWDOWN WITH A FEMALE, AND MUCH LESS-NOBLE, ROBIN HOOD
a.k.a. STFU SILVAIRRE (Y U SO TSUN)
-Sizhu knew her way around a bow already when she joined the Archer's Guild--her mother's mother, L'khenna Jakkya, had been an archer of near-legendary skill, and had taught both her grandchildren to be excellent hunters. Sizhu respects Luciane quite a lot, while she regards Leih Aliapoh as a sister-in-arms and perhaps something of a rival. While she dislikes Silvairre's attitude, she acknowledges him as a highly skilled bowman, and would like to win his acknowledgement of her skills in return.
-Regarding Leih: SIZHU TOOK NO CRAP FROM HER. She immediately refused to simply not tell the rest of the guild where the other Keeper of the Moon was planning to go, and basically all but dragged her back to her senses and to the guild.OHANA MEANS FAMILY, AND GUILD MEMBERS ARE BASICALLY FAMILY, AND FAMILY MEANS NO ONE GETS TO MAKE DUMB DECISIONS LIKE RUNNING OFF WITH A CRIMINAL FOR STUPID REASONS WITHOUT ANOTHER FAMILY MEMBER HAVING SOME SAY IN IT.

-The Elder Seedseer commands almost total respect and obedience from Sizhu; her siblings...somewhat less so. Sizhu likes Raya-O-Senna, and would happily consider her a friend. Despite their somewhat rocky start, she has come to think of A-Ruhn-Senna the same way. She wishes she'd had more time with A-Towa-Cant, yet she knows in her heart that so long as she keeps carrying his soul crystal, he'll always be close beside her in spirit.

a.k.a. "PLANAR FISSURE" OH YES THAT SOUNDS GREAT AND FULL OF SAFE
a.k.a. I GOT 99 PROBLEMS AND VOIDSENT MONSTERS ARE DEFINITELY SOME OF THEM
-It was an unlikely-seeming alliance: three Black Mages from various species, working with to correct the error of their forebears, alongside a guilt-stricken Lalafell and a surprisingly powerful Miqo'te adventurer. And yet it was necessary, and Sizhu found herself honoured to be a part of such an alliance, slightly poignant though the resolution proved to be. But in a way, it was beautiful as well: a friendship gone wrong in the past was carried on properly in the present, and Eorzea was much the safer for it.
-And for all the talk of 'the dark arts' as she learned more and more about this branch of magic, Sizhu never felt as though it was any sort of strain on her psyche. Whether she simply possessed the willpower to withstand its more personally destructive aspects, or the blessing of the Mother Crystal played a part in that as well, who can say? The only (sometimes) negative change Sizhu has ever noticed is a deep-seated urge to set things (and sometimes people) on fire when she reaches the end of her patience.
